'Save Holland Lake' group seeks more transparency from Forest Service

A base group Opposing the growth of a lakeside lodge in Swan Valley, the corporate is in search of better transparency from the Forest Service when reviewing future growth proposals. Flathead Nationwide Forest says such critiques are usually an “inside course of.”

In a letter dated January 13, the organizers of the Save Holland Lake group requested the Forest Service to promptly inform and publicize new proposals for improvement at Holland Lake Lodge. The request got here after the Forest Service returned the Utah-based developer. POWDRs, first plan triple the visitor capability of the lodge in December, citing “inaccuracies and inconsistencies” within the plan.

Save Holland Lake promoter Jacole Johnson of Missoula mentioned the group despatched virtually weekly registration requests to the Forest Service relating to the administration of the cottage.
