In 1990, my first 12 months as pastor of the Hamilton Park United Church of Christ, certainly one of our members, Martha Kling Weaver, invited my spouse and me for lunch. He took us to a really particular place to eat – the Kling Home Restaurant in Kitchen Kettle Village on the Intercourse.

On our journey from Lancaster to the restaurant, Martha had proven us the one-room faculty she attended along with her sisters as a baby. She discovered her classes so effectively that she would turn out to be a beloved music instructor in Lancaster Township and Lancaster Metropolis main colleges.
