CANTON, Ohio – A Canton officer was hospitalized on Friday after the police cruiser he was using apparently skidded off the highway and crashed right into a tree.

The Ohio State Freeway Patrol mentioned the officer, recognized as 26-year-old M. Thomas, was a passenger within the automotive round 3:30 p.m. as the driving force and police officer have been apparently attempting to take positions to cease site visitors.
